NHP is actively seeking to expand the team in all areas of NHP’s practice. Applicants should have good academic records and possess the requisite qualities of an upstanding member of the profession. We place significant importance on ethics, professionalism and commitment. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively; in both written and speaking forms and in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
NHP constantly looks out for bright, motivated and enthusiastic pupils with good academic results. Pupillage at NHP is not only a training ground to instil the best practices of the Bar and the highest standards of ethics and professionalism, it is also a platform to grow as individuals and as a member of the Bar. All pupillage positions are considered with a view of retention as Legal Associates subject always to the practical availability of space.
NHP provides a student with hands-on exposure on all facets of legal practice. Students would be exposed to conveyancing practice, corporate legal practice and litigation practice whereby a balance would be struck between these three main areas of practice. Students are however encouraged to state their preference on the area of practice of their choice.
Clerks(Real Estate), Clerks (Dispute Resolution), General Clerks and Secretaries
Applicants must have reasonable command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. The proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel is recommended. Applicants must be able to work together in a team, have good inter and intra personal communication skills but must be able to work independently as and when necessary. Previous working experience is a bonus.
