Vivian Kuan joined NHP in 2019 and was made Partner and Head of Litigation in 2020. Her current practice areas are focused on civil, corporate and commercial disputes involving breach of director duties, breach of fiduciary relationship, company and shareholder disputes, minority oppression, breach of trust, commercial judicial review, contentious banking litigation, probate & administration matters and debt recovery actions. Vivian has significant experience in respect of injunctive and interim relief applications. She frequently takes on public interest matters as well.

She was awarded Woman Lawyer of the Year and was shortlisted as Young Lawyer of the Year by the Asian Legal Business Malaysia Law Awards 2020.

She served the Bar as the Chairperson of the Kuala Lumpur Young Lawyers Committee terms 2019/20 and 2020/21 wherein she led a dynamic team of young lawyers in spearheading projects towards contributing to professional development, networking initiatives and charitable causes.

She also served as a National Dragon Boat Athlete in the Asian Games 2018 and SEA Games 2019.
