Dato’ Yeap Yu Lin joined NHP in 1975. Dato’ Yeap specialises in Commercial Banking and Corporate Matters. She also has extensive knowledge and experience in merchant banking, capital market instruments and in the financing of privatisation projects. Among others, Dato’ Yeap has spearheaded legal teams that have advised and assisted clients on the financing and privatisation of highways, electricity generation plants and ports. Dato’ Yeap has also been called upon to advise on Initial Public Offerings and in take-over exercises for companies now listed on the Bursa Securities Board.

In recent years, she was involved in the drafting of principal Islamic Banking documents such as Islamic Banking guarantee documentations and Islamic Banking trade facility documents for major and leading banks in Malaysia and in the region.

Dato’ Yeap is the Legal Advisor to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Selangor (SPCA).

Outside of practice, Dato’ Yeap keeps herself busy by volunteering at SPCA as a committee member. She would be first to heed any clarion calls to rescue abused animals and has been tireless in saving strays. Dato’ Yeap also volunteers in the Healing Ministry.
